Bernard Gauthier Obituary

GAUTHIER, BERNARD E. JR., 63, a resident of the RI Veterans Home, Metacom Avenue, Bristol, and formerly of Cranston, died on Tuesday, September 9, 2008.

Born in Providence, the son of Bernard E. Gauthier, Sr. of Warwick, and the late Janet L. (Ignagni) Gauthier, he lived in Cranston for most of his life, moving to Bristol in 2000. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Gauthier was formerly a quality control inspector at Rau Fastener in Providence. Earlier, he was employed at Davol Rubber Co.

Besides his father, he is survived by a niece, Keri A. Lamoureux of West Warwick, and a grandniece, Elizabeth Lamoureux. He was the brother of the late Denise N. Quinlan.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, at 10 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit on Friday from 9:30-10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

I worked with Bernie a Rau Fastener , he was always a gentelman to work with , he worked in quality control in the Eyelet dept and I was a toolmaker . Please ecceot my condolences on Your loss
