Josephine Gruttadauria Obituary
Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Gioacchino and Anatonia (Infusi) Vigilanti. Mrs. Gruttadauria was a supervisor in the garment shop for the State of RI, Department of Corrections for twelve years before her retirement. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and puzzles.
She is survived by her children Robert Gruttadauria and his wife Patricia of West Greenwich, Debra N. Miller of Cranston and the late Richard Gruttadauria. Josephine was the grandmother of six and the great-grandmother of two. She was the sister of Ann Oster of Cranston and the late Anthony and Thomas Vigilanti, Mary Parillo and Lisa Corvese.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
