Michael DeSano Obituary
Born in Providence, Michael was the son of Marie (Grilla) DeSano and the late Edmund DeSano.
Besides his loving wife and mother he is survived by a son, Justin Houle of Smithfield; a daughter Ashley DeSano of Smithfield; a brother Edmund DeSano, Jr. of Riverside.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd., Warren where family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8PM. Funeral service Thursday at 11 AM at Smith Funeral Home. At the request of the family, burial with be private. Please visit www.celebratewithsmith.com

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I lived on David Drive and spent my teenage years as a close friend of Michael's. Sounds like he never lost that sense of humor. I have been thinking of him all week and how much he made us all laugh. I will always treasure those memories.

Karen, Justin, Ashley & Family: We are unable to attend the services as we are out of town, but do want you to know we are terribly saddened by the passing of Michael and are keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers. Words cannot describe losing Michael in my life. 30 years is a lot of time, a lot of love and certainly, with Mike, a lot of laughs. I will think of him every day and smile, grateful that I had the chance to know him and share so many good times with his family. I'll always be here for you guys.

Karen, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. My husband, Michael, passed away suddenly 6 months ago at the same age. I have a 6 year old son. It is a long, tough road, but with a strong family and good friends to help you through, the road is much easier to travel. I have found the strength to go on and face each day by gaining strength from my son and everyone around me including my husband. He is with me every step of the way. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
