Raymond Grant Obituary
Born in Providence, he was the son of Christine (Silvia) Grant-Tanner and the late Raymond V. Grant, IV; stepson of Charles Tanner. Raymond was a certified computer technician.
He was the brother of Melanie Silvia and Kellie Grant; uncle of Austin Silvia.
Visitation Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. Please omit flowers. Although it's been a long time since we lost touch. I'll never forget you. It seems like it was yesterday when we had not a care in the world. Working on our bikes and building jumps in the trails were our priorities in life.
"Excuse me, where's the candles?"
That crazy voice you did still makes me laugh to this day. I think about the days we spent as kids and all the things we did. Racing at Rocky Hill, Pool hopping. Just being kids. I think about you and it brings a smile to my face. You had that kind of effect on people and you will never be forgotten.

My heart goes out to Ray Ray's whole family and all his friends. He will be greatly missed by all and the memories we all have will never be forgotten. He was and is still an amazing man and I am sure he is kickin back old school somewhere up there, blasting his 15 inch EV's waiting for us all. We all definately miss you Ray Ray, Keep shining.

We all will miss Ray Ray, although I havn't seen Ray Ray in a long time we were very close as teenagers.

Dear Cousins, my heart goes out to you at this time and the days ahead. I know Ray Ray and I didn't get the chance to hang out as much as I would have liked but I will always remember the times we did get to hang out. Like when mom used to take us camping and we would get in trouble because we stayed up all night laughing while mom and charlie were trying to sleep, and like all the times at the family reunions when we would run around and terrorize all the girls (lol). I’ve grown to know you all over the years and we’ve shared many memories together. I was devastated to hear about Ray’s passing. He meant so much to so many of us. ray ray will be sadly missed. i've known him since my days of highschool. i have some great memories with him.the best one was he came and celebrated my 21st birthday in ny with me with and other friends.that was a crazy night!! he always made people laugh with his dry sense of humor!! it is ashame that another needless death had to happen. my thoughts go out to his family and friends! r.i.p. ray ray!!!!
