Mary Susla Obituary
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Moran) Shevlin.
Mary was employed by the New England Telephone Co. as a Business Representative. She was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers of America and a gifted pianist, volunteering to play in many nursing homes in Blackstone, MA and the Woonsocket areas.
Surviving is a brother, John J. Shevlin of Coventry; a sister, Margaret S. Fitzgerald of North Providence and 14 nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Terrance P. Shevlin, Ann Tatro and Kathleen McCann.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J.F. SKEFFINTON CHAPEL, 925 Chalkstone Ave., Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Paul Church, Blackstsone, MA. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Blackstone Senior Center, Friends of the Aging, 15 St. Paul St., Blackstone, MA 01504.

My condolences to all the family. It has been too many years since we have been in touch! Sad how events move us all over the world and we lose contact. I just received the notice upon return from Ireland.
I still remember visits to Berlin Street as a kid! My brother Jim and both sisters have passed on. I'll remember Mary and all of you in my prayers.

I traveled to Ireland with a group including Mary in the early 1990's and had a most wonderful time with her. She regaled us at every hotel with her magnificent piano playing. Her beautiful smile and generous spririt were a joy to experience.
