Carmela Cassettari Obituary

CASSETTARI, CARMELA (MARSIGLIANO), of West Fountain Street passed away September 15, 2008 at the home of her niece, in Cranston.

Born in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of the late Giaccomo and Adella (Buery) Marsigliano. She was the wife of the late Raymond Cassettari. She was a retired jewelry worker.

Mrs. Cassettari was the sister of Patsy Marsigliano of NJ, Mary Orlando of NJ, and the late Leonardo and James Marsigliano and Laura LaSorsa. Also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and her long time friend Robert James.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Providence. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 Please visit www.WoodlawnGattone.com for online condolences.

Carmele,

As soon as I read that she died at the home of her niece...I knew it was your Auntie Carmela. You were always good to her...holiday dinners, etc.

It is a miracle we saw this, I remember the rides with cousin raymond and aunt Carmela. A life so special. Remembered always.
