Thomas Hanley Obituary

HANLEY, THOMAS E., , 51, of Elmwood Avenue, passed away Monday at his home.

Born in Providence, son of Mary T. (Cafferty) Hanley of Cranston and the late William F. Hanley, he was a lifelong Cranston resident.

Besides his mother, he is survived by 5 brothers, William J. Hanley of Smithfield, John F. Hanley of Sommerville, MA, Paul M. Hanley of Cranston, James P. Hanley and his companion Katherine Patrick of Warwick and Joseph C. Hanley of Cranston; 2 sisters, Margaret M. Rebello and her husband, Robert of Warwick and Anne Marie Hanley of Warwick; his companion, Lisa Hoitt of East Providence; 4 nieces, 2 nephews and 1 great-niece.

His funeral will be Friday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul Church, 1 St. Paul Place, Edgewood, at 10 AM. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to St. Paul Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Uncle Tom,

I will miss you more than you know. You were always so sweet and kind to me...I will never forget that. The next family function when I bring some Palmieri's Pizza...I will be thinking of you-I know you looked forward to it. I hope you know how much you will be missed. I wish you could've met Mackenzie...but for some reason it wasn't meant to be. I know you will be looking out for all of us now, forever.
