William Purtill Obituary

PURTILL, WILLIAM M., 89, husband of the late Retta M. (Little) Purtill, died September 16, 2008 in Townshend, VT.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law-Lawrence and Karen Purtill of Narragansett and his daughter and son-in-law Jayne and Joseph Rivers and two grandchildren Kathleen and Daniel Rivers, all of Brattleboro, VT. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

A calling hour will be held Saturday from 8:30a.m. to 9:30a.m. in Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Saturday at 10a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 60 Liberty St., Pawcatuck, CT. Burial with military honors will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Pawcatuck, CT
