Theresa G. McCreadie

McCREADIE, THERESA G. (NAULT), 88, of No. Smithfield, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in the St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. She was the wife of the late David M. McCreadie, Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Majorique J. and Orise (Vanasse) Nault. She lived in town since 1966.

Mrs. McCeadie was primarily a homemaker, but had worked part time at the former Social Department Store & Kornstein's Department Store. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Slatersville and a former member of the St. John's Choir and the Yuletide Carolers. Additionally, she was a 1938 graduate of St. Clare High School, Woonsocket.

She is survived by three sons, David M. McCreadie, Jr. of Providence, Douglas R. McCreadie and his partner Frank Carrano of Wakefield and Gary R. McCreadie of Pawcatuck, CT, two daughters, Judith T. Ducharme and her husband Alfred of Bellingham and Donna Price and her husband Charles of New York City, a brother, Robert Nault of Warwick, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Dennis McCreadie and sister of the late Bernard, Gerard, Rene and Roger Nault.

Her funeral will be held Monday, September 22, 2008 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7PM.
