Dear Pat and Lynda,
Bob and I were so sorry to hear of your dad's passing (Jimmie emailed us the death notice). We really enjoyed our visits with him last summer at our cabin. He was truly amazing---so interesting (and interested)---still driving at 89---and even his clothes were so stylish!!!! All we McCurdy kids thought he was so special!!
Well now he and your mom can party with our mom and dad. Can't you just picture the four of them? Boy, heaven will be rocking!!!
Seriously, I know you will be facing some difficult times in the days ahead. We will keep you both in our thoughts and prayers.

Our family's deepest sympathies at your loss. I wished I could have seen him before he died. He was a loving and devoted family man. I really liked him a lot. He was very nice to me. Love Carol
