Rhonda: I also loved your father and his brother Arthur. We were very close friends even if I am white to us color didn't mean anything. We were like brothers born again. I think I spent this last few months hoping that I wouldn't have to write in this book. Somehow hoping that I would see you again and be able to tell you face to face, how much I love you and miss you. ron I visit this site all the beacuse i miss you so much and just hope that one day that i will see you in heaven. It is hard to be believe that you are gone you are always in my heart and soul. I was working in nashua the other day and i ended up on donna street where we first met and i smiled because i have so many graet memories of us together. ron you were such an inspiration in my life you made me smile,laugh and cry. i miss you there is not a day that goes by that i dont think of you. love your son derek, ps i miss the sweeney family they were so giving,gracious and kind to me and i will never forget.I miss u rhonda your a great sister and we always got along well love ya

Thank You So Much Rhonda for putting this web site up. I miss him and think of him everyday. It is a bittersweet exsistence for me since I feel truly blessed for having had him come into my life and an empty void in my heart now for having him taken from us so soon. I am truly sorry, I know how this hurts, losing my oldest sister Charlotte July 19,2008, so I say may GOD comfort your heart and help sooth the pain of your loss with his blessings. I was so surprised but then again Arthur & Ronald were two peas in a pod, I can only imagine how Ron missed Arthur, his heart was heavy and lonely for him, so God had a plan...to reunite them...Bless us all.
I love you all and miss being there for you, but you are all in my prayers daily. We all grew up closely in the Roger Williams projects and scattered across the globe, but were able to keep in touch
through one or another family member. I am grateful for all the times that I was able to share with many of you. We will always be family.

Thank you All!!! I finally found enough strength & courage to visit this site! And I must say I am truly thankful for each and everyone of you. All of your kind words, heartfelt sympathy, and wonderful stories of how my father touched many lives in many ways. I am proud to say he is, was and always will be my HERO! Unc, sometimes things don't make sense, @ least not to the bereaved' It"s only been a very short while that we lost another brother, but as they say, GOD had his plans for you. All I can think of is that he wanted you to be with your brothers , mother & nephew . Uncle (Sweet Tooth) Ronald,
This isnt easy... to think about nor write about. words cant express what you meant to me and what you will always mean to me. Sitting at Nan's house with the whole family, i can't help but overhear the amazing stories/memories everyone has told about you. you were a remarkable man and i'm proud to say you were my uncle... and always will be. Your nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and great-newphews looked up to you as a positive role model in our lives. you were there to comfort us in Nana's passing and in Uncle Arthurs passing which to this day I have not gotten over. But you are home, with the most beautiful angels of all. and that reassures me you are safe and out of harms way. You will always be in my heart and i will always love you Uncle Ronald.... Especially around thanksgiving (whenever i have a pumpkin pie i'll be sure to save you a slice.)

I was saddened to hear of Ron's passing and smiled when I remembered how he made me smile...whilst in a parking lot Ron surprised me and I dropped all my grape tomatoes in the parking lot! He said ..."You see if you hadn't been so cheap and not bought a bag you wouldn't have dropped your tomatoes..." We had a big laugh and being Ron he and an associate helped me pick up the tomatoes. Wow!!!!! i still find this hard to believe, it was just 2wks ago that me you aunt jackie and aunt kim ( by way of speaker phone ) was talking about everything under the sun. i really didn't know how much i knew about you until now as i think back, we were room mates, co workers and better yet Friends, you was that one person that i can call up and ask any question that i had weather it be,how to fix something, or how to do something you knew it, and if you didn't you had a contact person that knew how to do it, now how real is that,between you uncle James and uncle Arthur i lernt how to be a strong man, in mind body and soul, Arthur, i stayed out of trouble because i respected what he did, and how he did it, James, the strong love of music,

To Ron's Entire Family:
I was shocked to learn of Ron's passing. Ron and I worked together six years at Crossroads. Every day was an adventure, but Ron's ability to give me laugh really helped with the day to day even when "we were not always on the bus". He never forgot to call me from the road for a lunch order when he was going to Popeye's or LY's. He was there whether I locked myself out of the office at 7pm in the dead of winter, when I needed him to sell tickets for my sister's fundraiser or cleaning up after me when I dropped the MonaVie all over the floor in the Temple bar. I was happy to work with him, had fun socializing with him and proud to be his friend! So as my Bobby-O (as Ron called him) would say: Semper Fi and I wish him God Speed! I will truly miss my friend.

My sincerest sympatht to Ron's family. I worked with Ron for over a year and will truly miss him. He always made my afternoon with a story or a joke. He would never leave without throwing a stone out my window to let me know he was going. I will miss those moments with Ron. I learned a lot from Ron and will miss learning more.
