John Foye Obituary
John was a graduate of Boston College. He was the Director of Support Systems for Social Security Disability, Mass Rehab Commission, Boston, MA until his retirement. He later served as the Director of the St. Anthony Regional Counseling Program in North Providence. John served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister for St. Anthony Church. John's life was a life of dignity, integrity and honesty.
John is survived by a sister, Dr. Mary M. Foye of North Providence; a brother, James T. Foye and his wife Cynthia of Chelmsford, MA and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was the brother of the late Celia Butterfield, Edward Foye and Rita Stemple.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. with a funeral on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, with entombment to follow in Highland Memorial Park Community Mausoleum, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Anthony Regional Counseling Program, 5 Gibbs Street, North Providence, RI 02904.
