George Haslip Obituary

HASLIP, GEORGE SR., 80, US Navy Retired, of Rehoboth, MA died Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Born in Central Falls, he was son of the late Alexander and Helena (McDermott) Haslip. He was the husband of Isabelle (DelPadre) Haslip of Rehoboth. He was the father of John, Cheryl and George Haslip, Jr. He leaves 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Carol Haslip) Turner, several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held Friday at ll a.m. in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Relatives and Friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 6-8 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. rifuneral.com

I was very sorry to hear of George's passing. He was so very good to my husband Garrett, his roommate at Haven Health. We had many talks and I really appreciated him and his care for Garrett. He was truly a nice man.
