Leo Forge Obituary

FORGE, LEO W., 82, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Mary (Ritacco) Forge. They were happily married for 47 years.

Born in Harrisville, he was the son of the late Joseph and Aurore (Jeaudoin) Forgue. He had lived in Cranston before moving to Cumberland in 1998. He was a navy veteran of World War II and Korean War. Mr. Forge was a retail sales supervisor for the former Gladdings and Outlet Company for several years before retiring from the Burlington Coat Factory in 1992.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Deborah Molitor and her husband Myles of Cumberland, and Cheryl Forge of New York, his granddaughter and goddaughter, Liana Molitor, two sisters, Rosemarie Kiesz and Barbara Cunha, two brothers, Lucien and Donald Forgue. He was the brother of the late Lauretta Lord, Jacqueline Keegan, Joanne Forgue and Wilfred Forge.
