Courtney Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, COURTNEY JEAN, 28, died on September 23, 2008 in Columbus, Ohio. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Lott, II.

She was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky; she is a daughter of Isaac Williams, Jr. and Jennifer J. Sims. She was a veteran serving in the US Army. She served in the 87th Echo Company.

She is the sister of Isaac Williams, III and Andrea Black. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents Isaac Williams, Sr. and Mary Williams. She was the maternal granddaughter of the late James and Carolyn Sims. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Bell Funeral Home, 571 Broad Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. www.bellfuneralhome.net

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this very difficult time. I never had the pleasure of meeting Courtney. However, I remember you speaking very highly of her at work. Cherish all of your memories and hold them close to your heart. I know that you loved her and that you are very proud of her accomplishments. She was a very bright, intelligent and beautiful young lady and is now an angel in heaven watching over and protecting you.

May God continue to bless and keep you in his loving care is my prayer.
