Dear Leslie and family:
I am so sorry I did not know of Barbara's passing. She was not only a teacher for me for so many years, but Barbara also became a wonderful friend. We had even made contact when I moved to New Hampshire.
I still display a beautiful wallhanging she did of the store when I owned it. She was an artist, and an artist with fabric. I know she had gone through a lot.
Just as I lost my father six months ago, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know you and your children meant everything to her.
God Bless,
Natalie

Dear Leslie,
I was so sad to hear of your mothers' passing. From what I remembered, she was lovely. Auntie Rosie, I'm sure, will be upset too, she loved her. She loved all your family. Since losing my own mother, I can feel and understand your pain. Funny thing, knowing both parents are gone. Makes you feel alone. Lean on your husband, and family, and look to God for strength. You have my heartfelt sympathy. Melanie (Moran) Welsh Tede's daughter

Dear Leslie -
Words cannot express the sadness I felt in learning of the passing of your mom. She held a special place in my heart and always will. Her love of her family and her passion for the arts was the essence of Barbara. Over the past 18 years she has crafted countless gifts for Jimmy and Paige ~ from personalized towels & blankets to treats for every special occasion and holiday. Where does the time go?

We especially loved the Christmas ornaments that she carefully crafted and personalized with such loving care over the years. Each Christmas as we unwrap those ornaments we think of her kindness and appreciate her craftsmanship. This year we will handle them with a little more tenderness and we will remember Barbara even more fondly and affectionately. Those ornaments will have a little more sparkle and an even deeper meaning for us as they adorn our tree from this day forward. To know Barbara was to love Barbara. I know that she will be deeply missed by you and Kevin and the kids. As difficult as this is for you, I truly hope that you can find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of her and that they will help to ease your sorrow over time. Please accept my deepest sympathies. With Love, Susan

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked briefly with Barbara and Willy at my dad's shop (Cranston Casting) but I knew them my whole life, they were wonderful people!
