Alfred Ambrose Obituary

AMBROSE, ALFRED M. JR., 71, of Cynthia Rd., owner of Ambrose Properties LLC, died unexpectedly at home October 6, 2008. He was the husband of the late Cecile (Casala) Ambrose.

Born July 15, 1937, in East Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred and Emily (Banno) Ambrose. Mr. Ambrose worked as a meat cutter for 47 years, first with his family at the former Ambrose Market, Warren Ave., East Providence, and later with the Almacs Food Stores. He was a 1st Class Store Keeper with the US Navy.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Ambrose and Gerald Ambrose; his five grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Christopher, Gregory and Cara; and his great-grandson, Noah.

A private graveside funeral will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery with burial following. Arrangements are through the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME. www.rebellofuneralhome.com
