Ann Catalano Obituary

CATALANO, ANN (BELGIORNO), 86, of Warwick, passed away Monday, October 6, 2008. Born in Providence a daughter of the late William and Amalia (Russo) Belgiorno. She was the wife the late Daniel Catalano, Jr.

Mrs. Catalano was a hostess for the Biltmore Hotel in Providence for many years.

She is survived by her sisters, Gloria DiTata and husband Nickolas and Whilemina Mae Ventham; nieces, Lori Connors-Tadros and Sheree Adler; grandnieces, Kasey Connors and Elissa Adler; and grandnephew Samuel Adler.

Visitation Thursday 8:30-9:30 a.m. in 'WOODLAWN' Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the RI Breast Cancer Coalition, 2 Shoppers Park, Route 117, Coventry, RI 02816. I am so sorry to read of Ann's death. We walked to school together all through grammar and high school and when one of us had to stay after school, we both did. She was a good friend. I regret not keeping in touch.
