Claire Ferraro Obituary

FERRARO, CLAIRE (MELUCCI), 90, of Cranston and formerly of Pine Hill Ave., Johnston, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Ferraro, Sr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Carlo and Maria Grace (Papitto) Melucci, she lived in Johnston for 57 years before moving to Cranston in 2005.

She was the devoted mother of Frank Ferraro, Jr. and his wife Ann of Johnston and Thomas P. Ferraro and his wife Diana of Warwick; loving grandmother of Maria Harrison, Michael Ferraro, and Sophia Ferraro; loving great-grandmother of Carina Harrison; and dear sister of Vincent Melucci of Cranston and the late Alberto, William and Ralph Melucci.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m.
