David Smith Obituary

SMITH, DAVID R., 74, passed away October 9, 2008. He was the husband of Mary Lu (Holt) Smith. Born in Somerville, MA he was a son of the late Albert F. and Catherine (Cotter) Smith.

Mr. Smith was a retired salesman in the furniture industry and a graduate of Boston College.

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters; Maryellen and Terri Smith, a sister Catherine Burns and was the brother of the late Albert Jr., Joseph P. and Theresa Smith.

Funeral Tuesday at 9:00am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Ave., E. Greenwich. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, N. Kingstown. Calling hours Monday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
