Dorothy L. Flock

FLOCK, DOROTHY 'DOTTIE' L. (PETERSON), 85, formerly of Vernon Street, Warwick, died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Flock.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Richard A. and Mary (McComiskey) Peterson. She had lived in Warwick for most of her life.

Mrs. Flock was a C.N.A. for 10 years for Home Health Care of RI and Nurses Placement, previously a saleslady in retail. She was a former communicant of St. Timothy Parish and a former member of the Warwick Garden Club.

She was the loving mother of Raymond E. Flock of Vincenza, Italy, Carolyn E. Flock of Westport, MA, and the late Robert E. Flock and Michael J. Flock.; caring sister of Richard Peterson of Warwick, Gladys Wideman of Port St. Lucie, FL and the late Gloria Sullivan; cherished grandmother of five.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
