Irmgard Habershaw Obituary

HABERSHAW, IRMGARD M. (WAGNER), 95, of Meadowbrook Dr., passed away Saturday at home. She was the wife of the late James A. Habershaw and mother of the late Stephen Habershaw.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Martha (VanBeaster) Wagner. She resided in Cumberland for 62 years and had previously resided on Pine Swamp Road.

She was a she was a graduate of the former R. I. State College in 1935 now known as the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Institutional Management. She was a communicant of the Holy Name of Jesus Church, Providence.

She leaves a nephew, Nelson Sheppard of Cumberland. She was the sister of the late Erna, Kurt, Gerhard Wagner and Hilda Wehr.

Her funeral will be held Thursday 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd., Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 99 Camp St., Providence. Burial will follow in the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
