Catherine M. Lubera

LUBERA, CATHERINE M., 86, of Saratoga Avenue passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Pawtucket Health Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter M. Lubera.

Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Bialnos) Gremza. She lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.

Before retiring she was employed as a Cutter for the American Cord & Webbing Co. for 20 years.

She leaves 1 loving daughter, Veronica Savoie of Alabaster, AL; 3 devoted grandchildren, Tanya Palo of Attleboro, Heather Burns and her husband Ron of North Attleboro, and Jason Savoie of Raleigh, NC; and 2 cherished great-grandchildren, Nathan and Rachel Burns; nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Mary Ellen 'Mel' Palo, and the sister of the late Stanley Gremza.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 8:30 A.M. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
