Esolina Lomba Obituary
She was born in Brava, Cape Verde a daughter of the late Augusto and Carolina (Lomba) Gomes.
Mrs. Lomba worked for Blacher Brothers for several years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter, Rose M. Lomba of Riverside, one son, Abel Lomba of Providence, one brother, Abel Gomes of East Providence, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late John A. Lomba and sister of the late Maria Pires and Frank and Joseph Gomes.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the PERRY/McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 5-8.

To the Family of Esolina Lomba,
My Deepest sympathy to all of you. I am thankful for the pleasant conversation we had one week before she passes on. Our wish was to get to see each other soon if God permitted; and ours was one that was not meant to be. I will never forget the two days she took the bus from her home in Providence, to Shaw's Plaza in East Providence and pushed the cart to my home on Swan St., to express her sympathy for my late husband Babe Ramos. This was a great honor considering her age. We were very close to her. She will be truely missed, loved and always remembered. She was a special friend. Rest In Peace.

Dear Rosie and Abel,

Abel and Rosie,
