William Pandozzi Obituary
He was born in East Greenwich a son of the late Americo and Mary (Felice) Pandozzi.
Mr. Pandozzi was a Tool Maker for many years and then had his own Landscaping Business and was a Jazz DJ for various RI radio stations. Bill enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, listening to Frank Sinatra, and was an avid Patriots fan.
He is survived by his children, William 'Bill' Pandozzi of Coventry and Lori Nacci of Johnston. He was also the grandfather of David, Amanda and Talia. He was also the former husband of Carolyn (Morelli) Pandozzi of Cranston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Home Service on Friday at 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS: Friday morning 8-10am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Bill and his music gave me many hours of pleasure. Though we never met and he wasn't aware of me, I was one of his many fans. I felt the jolt of his passing, and will miss him. In gratitude and sending condolences for your loss.

Billy and Lori, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I knew him since I was 5 years old and, as you know, he was one of my dad's (Russell) best friends for 48 years. It won't be the same seeing my dad riding his Harley without your father riding beside him. My thoughts are with you. "Hail to the Chief!"

Bill you were the best. I so loved listening to you on the radio. You kept me company all those nights when I was riding around in my car.
It was such a pleasure meeting you at the calvacade of bands. We had such a wonderful conversation.
I am sure you are in heaven singing and playing lots of music.
You will be missed.

Chief!!!! I've always called you that and I always will. The shock of your leaving us is just too much. I've known you my entire life. You used to tell everyone, "I was there when they brought her home from the hospital" You and my dad (Russell Etchells) were a great team and you both taught me to love and appreciate jazz. My own collection continues to grow all the time. The rides will never be the same without our leader. You took a piece of us with you Chief.

Such a sudden loss. Bill's cheery personality and always bringing smiles to friend's faces will be deeply missed.
I will miss you so much Bill, running into you at Jazz venues, Big Bands and the Calvalcade. They won't be the same.

To the family and friends of Bill I send my deepest sympathy. I always found Bill to be a special person and always enjoyed his company. There is no doubt his loss will be felt by many. I have many fond memories of our times together. If only we could bring back time.
