Jane, Oh my God! What is going on? Don passed September 6th and now 4 other friends have passes since.
Believe me I know where you are at now, So alone, It seams every day I don't want to get up, There is no reason to get up anymore. I feel your pain as I do mine. Art was a lot like Don full of knowladge, warmth, careing etc. Why do the good ones have to go.
God, my heart is so heavy right now. You will be in my prayers as will Art.
I can't say it gets easier, but I hope you have enough familey around to help you thru.
All my love to you and your familey
Pauline Dugal (and Don too)

We are so sorry and send our sympathies to all of your family. It was such a shock to see Arthur's passing where we had just seen him a few days ago walking his faithful companion on our small street each day. We will all miss him, and know the pain of losing someone so near and dear to our hearts at such a young age. Arthur, you truly will be missed, not only by your neighbors, but more so by your family and faithful companion. You and all your family will be in our prayers and will miss seeing you walking each day, and your stopping by to chat if only for a few moments. You were a true gentleman.

It's always more difficult when someone passes way too early. I will always remember the first ride Art gave me in the SPG at 75 mph down Charles Street at lunch hour. He will leave a vacuum in the SAAB community as we miss him.

Dearest Jane and Family, It is with a very heavy heart that I'm sitting at my computer this morning. Normally, I'm swaping jokes with my buds..... "Art" was always at the top of the list.

Art and I had a lot in common, Seabees, car guy's, and quirky sense of humor. I guess that's why I liked him as much as I did.

How many times have we said, "We should get together". but we just never found the time.

I feel bad that the last few times I called Art, was because I needed something, and I knew that if he could help me, he would and he did.

Above all, Art was a gentleman and I considered it an honor to have him as my friend.

I was stunned when I saw Art's picture and read his obituary. I just couldn't believe my eyes.I've known Art for twenty years and I could always count on Art to take care of my Saab. He was always accomodating and fair. He knew how to fix Saabs, that's for sure. Even though we never did anything together socially, I thought of him as a friend. I will miss him and the ways he used to tease me about my lack of knowledge of cars. My deepest condolences to Jane and the entire family.
Sincerely,
Al Gesualdi
