I send my deepest sympathies to Bud's family!
I was very fond of Bud as was everyone on Pinetree rd. or anywhere he went. He set the pace for so many things like the change of seasons. If Bud was out walking it was time to come out of Hibernation Spring had begun. If he planted flowers or his tomatoes then it was time to plant yours.
He had a great sense of humor! Sometimes I'd just go ask him a question just to hear him say, "I don't know" Even though he did. He never gave out advice He just listened and he was a good listener.
He was a patient man. You could meet him across the street getting your mail and he would notice if you were upset and say "How are things going"! He was just someone you could tell your worries and woes to.
Afterwards He would look you right in the eyes and say, " Oh, Well, What are you gonna do?" He lived with the belief If you can't fix it, than just leave it alone!
I cherish my memories of Bud as a neighbor and a friend! I will miss him greatly!
