John Reilley Obituary

REILLEY, JOHN J., age 73 of North Providence, passed away on October 17th at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Londergan) Reilley.

Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Keenan) Reilley.

Mr. Reilley was a resident of No. Providence for 47 years. He was a graduate of Providence College, and was a Veteran of the RI National Guard, retiring after 23 years of service to his country. He also worked in the telecommunications Industry for many years. John was a loving and caring person who loved his family dearly, especially his precious grandchildren, Sarah, Cailin and Lindsay Travers, Brooke, Paige and Kyle Greenberg.

Besides his wife of over 47 years, he is survived by loving daughters, Kerry E. Reilley Travers and husband Brian , Kathleen A. Reilley Greenberg and husband Gregory both of Barrington and Erin M. Reilley Brett and husband Jay of Providence, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of Elizabeth Kiernan of FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on WEDNESDAY at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. A graveside interment will follow with full military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visiting Hours are TUESDAY from 4 to 8pm in THE RUSSELL J. BOYLE and SON FUNERAL HOME, 331 Smith Street, PROVIDENCE. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in John's memory to: Soldiers Angels, 1792 E.
