Suzanne Cutts Obituary

CUTTS, SUZANNE H., 84, died peacefully at home on October 16, after a brief but difficult battle with congestive heart failure. She was the wife of Lloyd W. Cornell, Jr. and, following his death, the late Morgan Cutts.

She is survived by her sons, David Cornell of South Dartmouth, Mass., and Chris Cornell of Little Compton, R.I.; her granddaughters, Anne Cornell of San Fransisco, Calif., and Laura Cornell of New Orleans, La.; her daughters-in-law, Linda Cornell of South Dartmouth, Mass., and Amy Cornell of Camden, Maine; her brother, Scott Herrick of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; and her stepchildren, David Cutts of Providence, R.I., Holly Cutts Billings of Little Compton, R.I., Gordon Cutts of San Francisco, Calif., and Jon Cutts, of Cambridge, Mass.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Central Congregational Church, 296 Angell St., Providence, on October 25 at 2 P.M. Suzanne's children ask that, in lieu of flowers, her friends make a donation to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, or the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra.

I worked for Suzanne and Dr. Cutts for a couple of years. She was a considerate, kind and fair person. She loved her family and friends and always treated people with the utmost respect. I remember her fondly as I do Dr. Cutts and will always appreciate their kindness.
