William Spicer Obituary

SPICER, WILLIAM ARNOLD 3RD, 89, of Providence and a World War II army veteran, died October 17. A Mayflower descendent, the son of William A. Spicer Jr. and Minnie S. Spicer, he was a member of the Agawam Hunt Club and the Clock Assn. NAWCC, Inc.

He attended Gordon School, Moses Brown, and Hope Street HS. He is a Brown University graduate (AB Degree 1942). An executive with Brown & Sharpe, B-I-F Industries, and Brown University, he was also an antique clock specialist.

He leaves a niece, Marcy Snapp of Providence; a nephew, Ben Snapp of Shawsville, VA; and three grand nephews.

The funeral services will be private.
