My hero, My grandfather, I will miss you and love you each and everyday until I see you up in heaven. I will always remember the good times and share them with Ms. Ana Mae. You will sit next to her crib in her nursery until she's old enough for me to share all the great stories of how you use to bite my toes and bite my nose. I know it hurts so bad that your gone but I truely know your in a better place, and that you will be looking over me each and every day. I love you more than I ever could express to you . You are my hero!

Grandfather,
I Love You very much, too much that my words can not express. If you were to measure the quality of a man, as to what they left behind, you would be measured right up there with the greatest of all men (Teddy Roosevelt, Abarham Lincon). Not talking about the riches or the possesions one might have, those can all be lost at a moments notice. I'm talking about what the man has done, what he will be remembered for. Father of five children, every one of which has grown up and had children of their own, grandfather to so many loving grandkids, a great-grandfather, sharing the love, wisdom, and a passion for life only great men can instill in others. The footprints you have left in everyone's heart will always be remembered. There could not be a better man suited for the job of my grandfather than you. I Love You so much and all the wisdom and love you have passed onto me I will be sure to pass it on to my son. When it's time for me to be a grandfather I want to be just like you, Grandpa.

Dear Grandpa,
You are my strength when I needed you you are always there. You taught me it's ok to love you taught me that family was everthing. You were the one that made so much possible for so many people. Everyone that meet you loved you. I was so proud to be your grandson I couldn't have picked a better grandfather. You taught me to sail you cheered me on at baseball games. You instilled that undying love for your country in me. I remember you would cry at the star spangled banner you had so much passion. You made me believe that I could do anything especially when I had so many people telling me I couldn't. I will never forget you I love you so much and I will miss the talks we used to have. Grandpa my heart is broken without you but I'm happy because now God has the best angel he could possibly ask for. I love you Grandpa keep watching over us as you did your whole life. I will see you again when it's time.

My dear Charrel:
May I offer my condolenses. I served on a few committees in church with Hugh whom I had great respect for. Hugh had a knack for leading a committee and keeping them on track. I knew him before he got sick. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Even though I am in Florida I often think of the great people with whom I had the pleasure of serving with and Hugh ranked with the best.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
