I am a fellow member of RIYC and a fellow Marine. I lament that I never had the opportunity to talk over old times and thank Chelis for her service. But here's a try -- I hope you can hear me Chelis:

Semper Fidelis, and thank you!

Chelis was a friend of mine from the RI Yacht Club. I miss her and her indomitable spirit. She was a fellow Marine veteran with my late father.
God bless you Chelis.

Mrs. Baukus was a great supporter of Brown Theatre. When the Theatre and Dance program were undergoing a major renovation in 1993, she became a donor. How do I know this -- because I was the Box Office Administrator at the time. She often would stop by and say hello as she was on her way to a lecture or something on the campus.
She will be missed. My condolences.
