David Langley Obituary

LANGLEY, DAVID J., 61, born July 12, 1947 of Warwick and formerly of North Scituate passed away Sunday November 9, 2008 at Kent Hospital.

He was self employed for many years at Dave's Auto Service Center in Pawtuxet Village, and most recently ventured into carpentry and a pool business.

He was a devoted and loving father to his children Krystal, Kyle, Sean, and Janelle (and dear Janelle born 11/5/91). He leaves behind an ex-wife Kerry of 11 years, a sister Carol in NY, and other family. He served in Vietnam and his passion was boating which he enjoyed for many years including family trips to Martha's Vineyard. His strength, courage, and love will be missed by his family.

Visitation will be held TODAY Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in The Butterfield Chapel, 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. A funeral service with Military Honors will be held following the visitation at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

kyle, it was so sad to hear about this terrible death. Although i only met him a few times, he was a loving man, and a big supporter of Scituate Football. He was always at the games supporting us win or loose. I hate for him to go but he was a great man. Just play your heart out for him and so will I.
