Donald Robitaille Obituary

ROBITAILLE, DONALD, SR., 70, of Old Quarry Road, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Lucy (L'Europa) Robitaille. They were married for 50 years.

Born in Providence, a son of Walter and Helen (McKenna) Robitaille, he lived in Glocester for 26 years, previously living in Smithfield.

Mr. Robitaille was a machine operator for AT Wall Company until retirement and he had also worked alongside his wife for her company, In touch Jewelry, in North Providence. He was an avid Giants fan and loved all sports.

He is also survived by his children, Donna M. Kopka, Diane M. Flynn and Thomas R. Robitaille all of Glocester, eight grandchildren, his siblings, Ellen 'Marie' Barboza of Johnston, Robert Robitaille of Providence, Richard Robitaille of East Providence and Beverly Magnuski of Providence. He was the father of the late Donald Robitaille, Jr.

Funeral Saturday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial in Acotes Hill Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
