Luiz Silva Obituary
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, on Dec. 15, 1923, he was a son of the late Francisco and Maria (Medeiros) Silva. Mr. Silva was a retired housekeeper from Brown University.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 7 children, Lucia Cabral and Luis Silva, both of East Providence, John Silva and Joseph Silva, both of Providence, Horatio Silva of West Warwick, Maria Refino of Pawtucket, and Helena Silva of New Jersey; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his sister, Olinda Silva of Sao Miguel; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Manuel Silva.
His funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements through the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, East Providence. www.rebellofuneral home.com
