I was so sad to hear that my dearest Uncle Frankie has passed. Like so many others have said he was my favorite. He was the one that would buy us drinks at all the weddings and parties when we weren't old enough!! He was the one that would let me drive his car before I knew how. One of my fondest memories was when He came to my mom's house after my dad(Joe) died and played cards with my family . I remember being 8mts pregnant, away from my husband and other daughter(tiffany) and just losing my father, and Uncle Frankie "won big "as he put it and gave it to me. It wasn't alot but it sure helped me out being young married and poor and away from home. I can't help but think of the all the parties during Gaspee Days at my dad's hanging with Uncle Frankie was just part of the routine. Then the big Family Reuions.I wish we still had those. Boy I have such a flood of memories when I think of him all of the good. Rest in Peace my dearest Uncle Frankie, You will be missed . Can you say Hi to my dad for me. I miss him too. All my sympathies to all of the family.

Sorry for the loss.
I worked with Frank at Victory Plating and would run into him at Shaw's. He was always quick with a smile, a handshake and friendly conversation.

I love my uncle Frankie. As my brother,Eddie, said,he had a great smile. Even though i did'nt see him that often, all of my aunts and uncles stay in my heart and head. There is,and always will be, a connection. I remember Uncles- Frankie,Ritchie, Harry,Joe,and my dad,Ed, being silly at 88 Richard street, painting the kitchen and living room walls; drinking some beers, and slapping each other with their paint brushes full of paint in each others face! They were like little boys.laughing and just being "in the moment". I felt real good that day. The "band of brothers" were happy...I know my uncle Frankie is alive in another form, and certainly in my heart. Give my dad a kiss for me,huh? And my mom too,she thought the world of you. Oh, and i never knew your real name was "Ronald?" I don't care, though, you'll always be my very handsome Uncle Frankie to me.
love, your neice,pat

"Uncle Frankie" known for his good looks, warmth, and that trademark laugh of his, was an Uncle I was especially close to when I was a kid.
The times I had to stay at "Nana's," he would take me to one of those "Happy Days" type soda fountains, and we would sit in a booth, "Elvis" music blaring,
and every girl in the place felt the "pull" his magnetic smile had on them; and when he saw one of the girls approaching (us), he'd say to me, "remember, today you're my little brother," and I acted the part (not sure why), but him being regarded as the responsible "big brother" helped his cause with the girl(s), and I got soda and chips all day, but better than anything was that for a couple of hours I was his "kid brother," and I didn't have to take on any new behavior because of the role he cast me in; I loved him, and loved being with him! The hardest part was saying "Frankie" without "Uncle" in front of it! Today, my single guiding hope is that his Soul has "safely" crossed over (and) into the embrace of my father who used to introduce him to people by first saying, with pride and love in his voice, "this is my kid brother..."
I wish his family strength in dealing with his physical absence,
but as we all know, he'll never truly be away from us. The impression he left us is deep and lasting. Gods Speed Uncle Frankie. Love, your Nephew and "kid brother," Eddie

To Lori,Amy,James and Frank and Family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy on Frank's passing. I worked with Frank at Victory Plating and I have to tell you Frank was a great.great man. He taught me many many things about being a father and how to live by example. He loved his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters with all his heart and it showed every day. I regret not seeing him since our days at Victory and the world will be a little less fun without Frank in it. I loved to talk Red Sox's Baseball,The Pats and Celtics with Frank..I will not forget him. He will be in ours prayers tonight.
May the road rise to meet him
May the wind always be at his back
And until we meet again,
May God hold Frank and all our families in the palm of his hand.
