John Hamilton Obituary
Born in Providence, a son of the late Eugene and Angela N. (McGrath) Hamilton, he lived in Cranston for the last 27 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Hamilton was employed by Narragansett Electric Co. in Providence for 39 years, retiring as a dispatcher in 1991.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jack V. Hamilton of Warwick and Robert G. Hamilton of Cranston; a daughter, Paula J. Hamilton of Wyoming; and three grandchildren, Ilise, Gillian, and Caitlin. He was the brother of the late Pat Pope.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, November 20, at 8:45 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Visiting hours are Wednesday 3-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Hope Alzheimer's Center, 25 Brayton Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.

Your father will be fondly remembered for the kindness and love he so generously displayed. Remembering the July 4th holidays and the many times shared.
