Joan Latos Obituary
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George K. and Grace (Louris) Demopulos, she resided in Cranston since 1977.
Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Dean D. Latos of Smithfield, George S. Latos and his wife Patricia of Scituate and Heidi L. Nelson and her husband Stephen of Smithfield; loving grandmother of six beautiful children; and dear sister of Harold Demopulos of Bristol, the late Dr. Constintine Demopulos and his wife Tina of Pawtucket and the late Georgette Martins and her husband George of Newton, MA.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITING HOURS TUESDAY 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 or Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 175 Oaklawn Ave., Cranston, RI 02920 or Multiple Sclerosis Society, 205 Hallene Rd. Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886.

Mr. Latos and Family
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was blessed to have cared for Joan and to have had the honor to hear her stories and watch her pictures on the digital frame. She was a sweet and kind person who loved her family and her husband as he loved her. I saw it in his eyes through his tears. May God bless you and help you to find peace in your sorrow.

Dear Latos Famiy,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I have seen Joan almost every day for 25 years out the back window or over the fence. I will miss her puttering around in the yard. Chris if you need anything just holler over the fence. I Know that she is at peace but she will be missed by her freinds and family. God bless you all!

Thank you so much for be a loving grandmother to me. I know we had our ups and downs but the love was always there. I will love you forever and always. You will be missed by all those who knew you.
