Dear family members,
I was so sorry to hear of John's death. He was a wonderful man and his spirit lives in all who knew him. I visited St. Patrick's Cathedral this past weekend and lit a candle for John. I think he would have liked that. I have also prayed for him. Wishing you all peace this holiday season.
With deepest sympathy,

Dear Lena, John, Paula, Sandy and Carol,
How fortunate my family was to have the DeSano’s as neighbors and friends. After mom died John was such a help and comfort. I was so touched and blessed by his wisdom, kindness and generosity, I will forever feel grateful. My mother treasured her friendship with Lena and John and in later years I came to understand why. Bigger hearts I have yet to find.
My thoughts are with you.
Much Love,

Lena,
John is home now, with Al & Madeline. John was a wonderful friend and cousin to me over the years, helping me greatly when I was a teenager.
We have many memories, don't we? The farm and the clambakes, I even remember your wedding!!!!!
John - or Johnny - as my folks called him, was a true relative and friend in the finest way.
Lena, my best to you and your family
as well as my deepest sympathy.

To the DeSano Family:
John and I were childhood friends throughout school (Academy Ave - George J West - Mt. Pleasant High -) He was the best and smartest school pal that I had. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I know the Lord will take care of John.
