Arpad Ott Obituary

OTT, ARPAD H. 'ARP', 88, passed away December 7, 2008. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Prince) Pugliano Ott and the late Catherine W. (Rhodes) Ott.

Born in Pennsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Herman and Sophie (Meck) Ott.

Mr. Ott was a Master Carpenter for over 50 years and a US Army WW II veteran.

Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter Karen L. Drum of North Carolina, three grandsons, three great grandsons, seven step children; Michael and Jimmy Pugliano, Cathy Baker, Debbie D'Amico, Teresa Rochette, Linda Hunold, and Anna Maria Apice, thirteen step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. He was the oldest of eleven children.

A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am in St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Peirce St., E. Greenwich. Burial with military honors will be in East Greenwich Cemetery, E. Greenwich. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 pm in the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VNA of Care New England Hospice Care, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.

Paula and I were deeply saddened to hear of Arp's passing. He was anaccomplished craftsman and a true gentleman. Unfortunately were are out of state and will be unable to make the funeral. Please know that out thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
