He was the son of the late Roland P. and Elizabeth A. (Gray) Sylvestre formerly of Cranston. He is survived by daughter Jennifer Andrade and two grandchildren of Hampstead, NH, siblings, Paul J. and Peter E. of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Joan E. Hupf of Cranston.
