Anthony Fontes Obituary
He was born in Providence, RI. He was a son of the late Victor and the late Mary (Almedia) Fontes. He had been a cook at Miriam Hospital for over thirty years. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a brother of the late Alice (Fontes) Rose, John Correia, Vernon Montrond, Elizabeth Cardoza, and Kenneth Fontes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a brother-in-law Avelino J. Rose. A funeral will be held from the Bell Funeral Home, 571 Broad Street, Providence Saturday at 9:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., E. Providence. Calling Hours in the funeral home Friday 6-9 pm
