John Armenti

ARMENTI, JOHN, 76, of Pasadena Court, Warwick, died on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Deborah Armenti.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Sabatina (Pelusi) Armenti, he lived in Warwick for over 40 years. Mr. Armenti was a retired stone mason. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War era.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, John J. Armenti of Seekonk, MA; two daughters, Deborah A. Blinkhorn of N.E. Palm Bay, FL and Rachael S. Armenti of Providence; two brothers, Matthew Armenti of Warwick and Anthony Armenti of Providence; three sisters, Anna Brown of Warwick, Mary Ferrucci of East Greenwich, and Evelyn Pinney of Warwick; four granddaughters and one great granddaughter. He was the brother of the late Santino, Louis, and Josie Armenti, and Raphaela Urcioli.

A private funeral service will be held on Monday, August 27, at 10 a.m. in the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Private visiting hours are Sunday 3-5 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
