Raffaele Santoro Obituary

SANTORO, RAFFAELE R. 'RALPH', 85, of Harriet Court, Seekonk, passed away Monday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Concetta 'Connie' Luca.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Pucci) Santoro. Mr. Santoro resided in Seekonk for the past 45 years. He worked as an office manager at the Poole Silver Co. and a payroll manager at the Miriam Hospital before retiring. He was a graduate of Bryant College. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the American Legion, Post 14, Cumberland. Mr. Santoro was an army veteran serving during WWII.

He is survived by a brother Frank Santoro and his wife Judy of Seekonk, 3 sisters, Amalia 'Molly' Richards and her husband Lewis of Providence, Antonetta 'Etta' DiBoni of North Providence, Marie Dionne of Cranston, and a sister-in-law, Jennie Fargnoli of Providence. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and -nephews.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the A. A. MARIANI & SONS Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church, Taunton Ave., Seekonk, MA. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Disabled American Veterans, 1 Capitol Hill, Prov., 02908, would be greatly appreciated.
