Jane was born on Nov. 16, 1969, in Detroit, the daughter of Dennis and Gail (Zuber) Brennan.
Jane moved to Antrim County with her mother and stepfather when she was a teen and went on to play basketball, softball, volleyball, band and cheerleading at Mancelona High School where she also graduated.
Those who knew Jane knew her deep laugh with a girlish lilt. In addition to being a bright and talented young woman, she was fearless and would try anything once. Jane truly embraced life and always had the best time possible.
She is survived by a daughter Samantha Nicole Dean of Alden; her mother and stepfather Gail and Kenny Innis of Mancelona; her father Dennis Brennan of Duvall, Wash.; three brothers, Terry (Pam) Brennan of Harper Woods, Mich., Kevin (Audrey) Brennan of Gross Pointe Woods, Mich., and Louie (Maya) Innis of Mancelona; and three sisters, Tracy Brennan Parkin of Royal Oak, Sherrilee (Sean) Innis-Grafton of Dearborn, and Sherlynn Brennan of Duvall, Wash. Also surviving are her aunts, Wanda Spencer and Kathy Zuber; Grandma and Grandpa Lee Roy Udell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her uncle Thomas Zuber.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Mark McCool will officiate. Visitation will take place on Friday, Aug. 24, from noon to 8 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Jane,
You were always there for me. I experienced my first trash can drink at the Green Lantern with you as well as my first tattoo. You got your scorpian done first and then held my hand while I got mine done. That is a true friend. I will miss you dearly. Katrina Chapman Mancleona
