I waited until now to enter a expression of sympathy. What do you say to a mother who lost her child, or to children that have lost there Mother... Sandy was the best of both, Mother & Daughter. Everything will be out of balance both for them as well as the countless friends that were her customers....I can't describe the pain for the family's loss...I can only imagine

Our family has gone to Robertsons as long as I can remember (Sandy was the only one who could tame my mom's thick hair and cut my dads wavy locks). It's such a shock that she's gone and we will all miss her very much. Our sympathy goes out to the gang at Robertsons and to her wonderful family.

My son and I will miss Sandy's presence at Robertson's...indeed, I'm sure that a visit won't go by without thinking of her. Sandy was a lovely, lively, intelligent woman, and it was always a pleasure to talk with her.

Since moving to Traverse City 8 years ago, Sandy was my barber. I looked forward to my visits because of her sunny disposition. I always went away feeling better about myself and life in general. She will be missed.

Sandy was my barber for over 20 years. Simply put, she was the best barber I ever had and her kind manner matched her competence. She will be sorely missed. My sympathies to her family, friends, and especially to her fellow barbers at Robertson's, Roger, Joe, and Greg.

I would like to send my condolences to Sandy's family. And to the guys at Robertsons. I've had my hair cut at Robertsons since I moved to Traverse City and it just wont be the same place without Sandy.

Our sympathy to Sandy's family,
Sandy was wonderful with our boys. She had cut Marshall (9) and Stevie's (5) hair since we moved here two years ago. And it wasn't easy to cut Stevie's hair! She was GREAT with the kids. Always kind and patient. She always had the best hockey cards and BIG pieces of bubble gum. They loved her. We will miss her deeply.

To Mike and Family,
Deepest sympathies to you and your family. It has been a long time ago )way back in your younger hockey days Mike, Civic Center Days). Like any great Mom she was always at the practices and the games cheering you on. May her memories live on for your family everyday.
God Bless all of you.

To Sandy's family: I'm so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. Sandy used to cut my hair (til I decided I needed a frost job & to go beyond the barbering). She was such a wonderful lady, and we shared stories & concerns of my son & her daughters. We also shared a common interest for awhile in sailing, & she even invited me to join her & a dear friend to sail 1 afternoon.
I feel so bad for the 2 young daughters she leaves behind, who won't have their wonderful Mom around for all the advice they will still be needing. May you feel her presence in your times of need.

I worked in the Masonic Bldg. for a very long time and Sandy was a joy. We often laughed about her place with the "guys" in the shop. She was always kind. My thoughts go to her loved ones. Thinking of her shopmates... Roger, Greg, Joe and gang. Peace sweet angel. What a loss for all of us.

It is so hard to believe you are gone, Sandy. I don't even know how many years you cut my hair. You were such a comfortable, easy going person to see each month and a half or so. I was one of those non-fussy women you were willing to barber. I didn't have to tell you much- you always gave me just the cut I wanted and so much more. You were so kind and so interested in what I had to say. I heard about your son and the games he won and the girls and what they were doing. How proud you were! I feel like I knew your whole family. Oh how they must miss you. And the guys at Robertsons must feel so sad without you there. You were so special in a quiet, humble way, beautiful inside and out. People like you leave big holes in the world when they leave. Blessings to your wonderful family in their grief.

I am sorry for your loss. Sandy cut my sons hair a few times when they were little. I was always happy to listen to her stories about her kids and all they were doing. She loved her family so much. You are all in my prayers.

To the family of Sandy Raymond....
We have known Sandy for many years from the barber shop and through our good friends, Helen and Joe Schleicher. She cut my hair several times when we lived in T.C. and I enjoyed her lovely personality and positive attitude. Both Terry and I send our deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. You are all in our prayers today and in the future as you face each new day and the challenges they bring. We hope you will find comfort in the memories you shared with her and in knowing there are many people who are supporting you now.
