Fred is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan Schwartzlander; son, Mark Schwartzlander; daughter, Marcy Ketcham; brother, Don (Bonnie) Olson; sisters, Shirley (Glen) Peters and Maryanne (David) Sommer; stepmother, Ellen Schwartzlander; stepdaughter, Lisa (Jeff) Haisley; stepson, James Caudle; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Rose Schwartzlander; and his sisters, Rosemary and Darlene.
Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Private concluding services will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Ariz.
