Mr. Graybill was my principal @ Jefferson In 1970. I didn't have much contact with him except in passing in the halls,I respected him a lot and was very fortunate to have never had to be sent to "the principals office". He will be missed & I want to send his family my sympathy. GOD BLESS. Margaret Quarles Patterson class of 1970

I had my Wm Fleming annual out the other day and saw pictures of Mr. Graybill. He was a fine man and very respected by the student body. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

For
many years, my family in Roanoke cherished the friendship of Jack
Graybill. During my youth, I admired him very much, and that admiration
only increased over the years. Roanoke has lost one of its finest
citizens.

Mr. Graybill taught advanced history to some of us at Wm. Fleming in 1961. I think we will always remember him as being fair and being a friend. He will be missed.

We attended William Fleming in the 50;s and 60's when Mr. Graybill taught there. He was a kind man. He always tried to attend our high reunions and I thought that was so thoughtful. He will be missed. Wayne and Brintha Gibson

Very sorry to hear of your loss. I was a student at PHHS back in the mid '60's and thought a great deal (all positive) of Mr. Graybill. He was a good man.

My sympathy to all of you who are Jack's family. He was a friend and fellow educator. I got to know him during the 1970's when he was principal of PH and I was principal of Salem.
