I am so very sorry for the loss of such an amazing daughter, sister, mother and friend. I can't imagine going to the lab or hospital and April not being there. I feel so blessed to have known April, she truly made you a better person just by knowing her. Her memory will always be kept alive by those of us who knew her.

It was a joy to know April, and we are deeply saddened by her passing. She fought a long and hard fight. My most treasured memories of my conversations with her were the talks we had about our shared faith. These bodies are temporary, but I am confident that April lives on. April truly was a beautiful person inside and out, I hated to hear about her passing. My heart goes out to all her family and friends. April sent me a note telling me that she hoped the best for me after I had gotten cancer but never mentioned the battle she herself was fighting. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

To all the family: My heart aches for you...... April was a beautiful person inside and out and it is hard to understand but when the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help you find your smile from something she had said or done. April left happy memories to all those whose lives she touched through the past. I have many pictures of April at my house with Stacey from the times they played when they were little; through middle and high school activities to the wedding showers and baby showers. April was special to our family and will always be loved as one of our own. No words can describe how our hearts ached when we received the news and I know I cannot take away any pain that you feel, just remember that memories are the legacy of love. Sharon, Mac, and family, during this difficult time I don't even know what to say. I am so sorry to hear about April. I can still see her and Tabbie playing when they were very young. It seems as if I blinked and they were grown women. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Again, I don't have words that can express my thoughts of what you are going through. Psalm 147:3 says, "He healeth the broken in heart".

I can't imagine how you must feel at this moment, but my heart breaks to even try. Please know that we have been and will continue to pray for you that God will give you comfort and peace and assurance of His sovereignty in April's life and yours. Mac, Sharon, and family I want you to know that you are in my prayers during this difficult time. I know we all had some memories together. I hate that April and I lost touch after highschool. All I can think about is her smiling face and those long arms reaching out for me to pass her the basketball. Those nights we spent at your house eating up all the food and staying on the phone till way up in the morning. Gosh there were some fun times up in Rich Valley. I know April will be GREATLY missed. Sharon and family, I am so sorry to hear about April. She was a trooper and a fighter and I can't believe that the fight is over.
