To my kind colleague, Tom Smedley, and the Smedley Family: I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family and your family's friends. May you all find comfort through your strong faith in God, your happy memories of your mother with family members and friends, and the support of caring individuals. May you all continue to be blessed throughout this challenging time and beyond. I will include you and your family in my prayers.
My family, friends, and I have found that many Biblical Scriptures contain words of comfort, encouragement, hope, and inspiration. These are a few examples, and there are many others:
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Jeremiah 31:3
Joshua 1:9
Psalm 121
Psalm 23
Numbers 6:24-26
Psalm 136:1
Sincerely,
Cindy Connor

Dear Martha,
We are sorry to hear about your mom. I still remember the fun times we had when you stayed with us. Mom keeps asking us to bring her to see you. Maybe we will get there one day. We are praying for you.
Our love,
Betty Combs
